Most Asked Questions

READ ALL FAQ
Should I store my olive oil in the refrigerator so that it lasts longer?

This is not at all necessary. A dark place without moisture is the optimal location to store your oil. Keep your extra bottles of Mt. Kofinas olive oil in a cool, dark place like a pantry closet. Sunlight and moisture are two things that can harm your olive oil. However, olive oil can be used as a natural preservative. By its nature, olive oil is fairly stable and certainly is delicious for many years.

I forgot my olive oil in my freezing car overnight and now the olive oil is cloudy white. Did my olive oil spoil?

No, it just turned to a solid. After being in room temperature for a while it will return to it’s original state. Trust us, it will still taste great.

There’s pulp at the bottom of my olive oil, does this mean that it went bad?

No, our olive oil is natural and unfiltered so with time the fruit particles may settle. Mix the oil by tipping the bottle before using so it is evenly dispersed.

Can I cook with the olive oil?

Yes, people have been cooking with olive oil for thousands of years. As part of the Mediterranean diet this is the main ingredient and cooking method of most dishes. It also gives a great taste to the food and helps infuse flavors.

Can I fry with olive oil?

Yes, it is actually a great oil to use because it stands up well since the smoking temperature (380˚F – 400˚F) is above the ideal frying temperature (350˚F-365˚F). The reason olive oil is not commonly used in frying is based on cost. Out of the available oils, olive oil is among the most expensive, but also the most delicious.

If I fry with olive oil, will the olive oil change from a “good fat” to a “bad fat” ?

Extra virgin olive oil is a great source of poly-unsaturated fats. Simply frying with olive oil will not change the chemical composition. Your extra virgin olive oil will NOT change into a saturated fat, or a trans fat.

White Peach Balsamic Vinegar from Modena, Italy

Learn More

White Peach White Balsamic Vinegar blends the natural sweetness of ripe peaches with a mellow white balsamic base from Modena, Italy. It is light, fruity, and easy to pour over salads, fresh fruit, and simple glazes. Add a bottle to your cart and taste how a little peach white balsamic can brighten your everyday cooking.

What Is White Peach Balsamic Vinegar?

White peach balsamic vinegar starts with grape must, which is freshly pressed grape juice cooked down slowly. For a white balsamic, the must is cooked at a lower temperature under pressure so it does not caramelize, which keeps the color light and golden. Ripe peach flavor is then added for a bright, fruit-forward taste.

This bottle is one of our Italian white balsamic vinegars, aged in wood barrels for a smooth, rounded finish. It is naturally free of artificial ingredients, with no added thickeners or coloring. The result is a soft, sweet peach white balsamic that stays light on the palate.

How to Use what? too hanging..

Best used as a finishing vinegar where its light sweetness can shine.

  • Salads and fruit: Drizzle over fruit salad, especially watermelon, or whisk into a quick vinaigrette for summer salads and grain bowls.
  • Glazes and desserts: Glaze meats and vegetables before roasting, or drizzle over gelato, goat cheese, or fresh fruit for a sweet-tart finish.

What Can I Use Peach Balsamic Vinegar For?

This is a versatile bottle that works far beyond a basic salad dressing. Its light peach sweetness pairs with both savory and sweet dishes, so it earns a spot in everyday cooking.

  • Garden salads and dressings: Whisk it into vinaigrettes for garden salads, grain bowls, and slaws.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is peach balsamic vinegar good for you?

Yes, in moderation it is a simple way to add flavor without heavy sauces. Balsamic vinegar carries antioxidants from grape polyphenols, which may help fight oxidative stress, and it is naturally low in calories. It is also vegan, so it fits a wide range of diets as part of balanced meals.

What does white peach balsamic vinegar taste like?

It tastes light, sweet, and fruity, with a clear ripe peach note over a mellow balsamic tang. The Modena base gives it a smooth body that is thicker than a typical wine vinegar but still easy to pour. It is sweet without being sharp, so it works on both fruit and savory dishes.

What is the best olive oil to pair with white peach balsamic vinegar?

It pairs best with our Wild Orange Infused olive oil or our Butter Infused olive oil. Wild orange adds a citrus lift for bright salad dressings, while butter brings a soft richness for glazes and roasted vegetables. Both make easy, balanced combinations for fruit salads and light meals.

Should you refrigerate balsamic vinegar after it's opened?

No, there is no need to refrigerate balsamic vinegar. Store it in a cool, dark place like a pantry, away from sunlight and moisture. An unopened bottle keeps for years, and once opened it holds peak flavor for 3 to 5 years, since balsamic is naturally stable.

How do you use white peach balsamic vinegar in a salad dressing?

The easy ratio is 2 parts olive oil to 1 part vinegar, whisked with a pinch of salt and pepper. Use our Extra Virgin Olive Oil for a clean base, then add a little honey if you want more sweetness. Pour it over garden salads, grain bowls, or fresh greens.
